The Jumble Sale takes place at the Scout Centre, South Avenue, Cults on Friday 9th June ( 7 - 9 pm) and Saturday 10th June (10 am - 1 pm)     The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be calling at households on the evenings of 29th May to 2nd June to collect any goods being donated.   Goods can be delivered to the centre during that week either in the afternoon or evening.  Special collections can be arranged by telephoning either Sonia Smith (868713) or Elaine Still (869924).   We would appreciate donations of good quality saleable goods e.g. clean clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac, books, videos, toys, garden equipment, linen etc.   Help in setting out the goods is also required.    The money raised from the sale will go towards the ongoing upgrading of the Scout Centre  as well as meeting the regular running costs of the centre.

The total roof renewal has been completed and the next project is the replacement of the main hall ceiling which will take place in July.

Next year's aim is to completely renovate the various toilet facilities within the centre to include disabled availability as well as assessing our disabled access points.

Self help painting of individual areas and rooms is being encouraged and all this in readiness for the centenary of our Scout Group which will be commemorated in 2009.   Details of a number of related functions will be made available on this Web Site as and when they become available.
